IMPORTANT MEMBERSHIP YEAR CHANGE!
SVP must have a ONE TIME 15-month membership year in order to change to a CALENDAR membership year.

EXPLANATION

In order to become a member of the society, applicants must complete the SVP Membership Application and submit it electronically using the link provided below, or by sending the application to the SVP Business Office at the address listed below.

SVP Members: to renew your membership, login to the members area. If you owe dues for the current year, you will see a link entitled 'Dues Reminder' in the left navigation bar. Click that to renew your dues online. DO NOT use the new member application to renew your dues.


Membership Types

Regular Membership — $140
Includes: year subscription to the News Bulletin, SVP's electronic newsletter, and the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology — the most widely read journal in the profession — and voting rights

Student Membership — $70
Includes: year subscription to the News Bulletin, SVP's electronic newsletter, and the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology — the most widely read journal in the profession — and voting rights
Note: For Student Memberships, complete a printable application form, which must include the signature of an advisor and a copy of a valid student ID card.

Associate Membership — $50
Includes: year ELECTRONIC ONLY subscription to both the News Bulletin ( SVP's electronic newsletter) and the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology — the most widely read journal in the profession. (Does not include voting rights.)

Spousal/Second Membership — $40
For those who live in the same household as an existing member.
Includes: year ELECTRONIC ONLY subscription to both the News Bulletin ( SVP's electronic newsletter) and the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology — the most widely read journal in the profession — and voting rights.

Institutional Membership: A Program for Institutions of Developing Nations —
To increase access to electronic-based publications and news of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology (SVP) for institutions based in areas with developing economies.
NOTE: This membership type is awarded, on a limited basis, through a nomination process. Nominations must be made by an SVP member. Click here to find out more about this award and how to submit a nomination.

NOTE:  All above member types have electronic access to the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology through the SVP Web site.


SVP Donor Membership

Increase your membership status by making an additional contribution to one or more of the SVP support and scholarship funds that are listed on the Online Membership Application. By making a contribution, you’re helping to ensure the continuation and growth of our education and advocacy programs. The member donor categories are:

Patron, Partner and Sustaining donors are recognized in the SVP News Bulletin, in issue number 3 of the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology and on signage at the annual meeting.

An acknowledgement letter of your contribution and donor status will be sent to you.

Printable Membership Sponsor Form (Adobe Acrobat PDF) — Current SVP members may pay the membership fee of another SVP member. The applicant must sign the SVP Ethics Statement on the reverse side of the form.
