SVP has negotiated with the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel to offer the discounted rates of $138 single/double occupancy. Single/double rooms on the club level are $158. Single rooms include one queen sized bed and double rooms include two queen sized beds. Cots are available and are limited.

Reservations should be made by September 24; afterward, the discounted room rate will not apply. All reservations require a first night room deposit, or guests can guarantee reservations with a major credit card. Your credit card will not be charged prior to arrival. Make any necessary cancellations by 4:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival to avoid a cancellation charge. Discounted room rates are available three days before and three days after the meeting dates. Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is at noon.
The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel is nearing capacity for reservations made at the discounted rate for SVP meeting attendees. Rooms may become available due to cancellations, so you may want to check back for room openings. Other hotels in the downtown Cleveland area include the following, which are listed solely due to their proximity to the meeting venue. They are not part of the official SVP block of reserved rooms and have made no agreements with SVP.

NEW! Airline Discount for Attendees
SVP has made a discount arrangement with Continental Airlines for travel to and from the SVP 68th Annual Meeting in Cleveland (Continental Airline's hub). Attendees will be offered discounts off published fares of 2% to 15% or Zone fares. An additional 3% off will be offered if you book your own reservations online at www.continental.com. You may also use your travel professional or Continental MeetingWorks at 800-468-7022 for reservations. NOTE: A $10 (USD) per ticket charge will apply when booking over the phone through Continental MeetingWorks Reservations or any Continental Airlines ticketing facility. The service fee is non-refundable and applies to all itineraries, one-way or roundtrip. Booking through your travel agency may also incur a fee. The Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is served by all major airlines. The airport is located approximately 12 miles from the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel.
Bargain Transportation to and from the Airport
The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides convenient service to and from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). The trip takes less than 30 minutes, and trains depart from CLE every fifteen minutes for the majority of the day. One-way cost is $1.75. From Baggage Claim, go down to the ground floor to board at the Rapid Transit Terminal. Your destination is Tower City Center-Terminal Tower. It will be the only train that travels to Tower City; it is called the Red Line eastbound.
Taxi service is located at the South End Baggage Claim Level and costs approximately $33 for a one-way trip between the airport and the hotel. All transportation costs noted above are reflective of the time of this printing and may be subject to change.

Self parking at the Renaissance during the day is $10 for the first 2 hours, $1 each additional hour with a $16 daily maximum. Overnight self-parking is available for $22 per day and overnight valet parking is available for $25 per day.
