There are six (6) presentation types at the SVP Annual Meeting. They are:

Abstracts are accepted for oral and poster presentations in the following categories:

Presentations for the Preparators' Session are reviewed by the Program Committee for grammatical and structural competence. They are then reviewed by the Preparators' Committee for methodological and scientific content.
Romer Session
Presentations for the Alfred Sherwood Romer Prize are reviewed by the Program Committee for grammatical and structural competence. They are then reviewed by the Romer Prize Committee for methodological and scientific content.

Four poster sessions will again be offered this year.
The standard poster size is 8 feet by 4 feet (landscape size), or 243.84 cm wide x 121.92 cm high. Smaller, landscaped-size, posters are acceptable. In order to achieve the best exchange of ideas and information, authors are asked to be present at their posters when the viewing sessions are unopposed by platform sessions. You will be notified by the Program Committee this summer of acceptance and the poster session to which you are assigned.

Colbert Award (formerly the Student Poster Prize)
Student poster presentations accepted to compete for the Edwin H. and Margaret M. Colbert Award are included in one of the four poster sessions.
